Terms of service

1. The service

MosaicEarth lets users process drone imagery, connect a compatible processing service, import finished geospatial files, visualize results, organize MyProjects, MyAssets and MyMosaics, and publish or acquire eligible MosaicAssets.

2. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account information, keep access credentials secure and notify us of suspected misuse. External sign-in providers control their own authentication services. You remain responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by a MosaicEarth security failure.

3. Your files and rights

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant MosaicEarth the limited rights required to store, convert, stream, display and distribute it according to your visibility and sale choices. You must have the necessary rights, permissions and lawful basis for imagery, coordinates, people, properties and datasets included in your content.

4. Processing and web previews

Photogrammetry and conversion results depend on source quality, metadata, infrastructure and selected settings. Web previews are optimized for interactive delivery and may have less visual detail than the original downloadable file. Processing estimates are not guaranteed completion times.

5. Private, Premium and public

• Private: visible to the owner and authorized viewers; standard project files may expire after the period shown in the app.
• Premium: keeps eligible private result files accessible while the relevant subscription remains active.
• Public: discoverable on MosaicEarth and offered under the displayed price and licence. Publishing is intended to be permanent; content may be removed for legal, safety, quality or policy reasons.

6. Mosaic Credits and payments

Mosaic Credits are an internal service balance used for eligible processing and acquisitions. They are not cryptocurrency, electronic money or an investment, and cannot be withdrawn as cash unless MosaicEarth introduces a separate written programme. Prices, taxes, renewals and refund rights are shown before checkout and handled under the applicable payment-provider terms and consumer law.

7. Downloads and licences

Acquiring an asset adds it to MyAssets and grants the licence displayed at purchase. It does not transfer copyright unless expressly stated. Downloads must not be used to infringe privacy, intellectual property, export, mapping, aviation or other applicable rules.

8. Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful, malicious or misleading content; probe or disrupt the service; evade limits; misuse personal data; impersonate others; or publish geospatial information that creates an unlawful safety or security risk. We may suspend access needed to investigate or prevent harm.

9. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service reliable but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every external node, map source or third-party service will remain compatible. To the extent permitted by law, MosaicEarth is not liable for indirect losses or decisions made solely from unverified preview data. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
